2nd Letter from 1st Anonymous Writer

Anonymous: It's me again! Thanks a mil for posting the first one, and I hope you don't mind me submitting another one, from GJ's POV this time. It turned out more procedural than the first, because her feelings seemed more of a slow-burn, unlike HJ. It was easier to write from his POV because he was so spontaneous with his feelings. I've sworn off SM, but I'm a friendly lurker! Really enjoyed your last fic, and I hope we get to see more from other writers cause there's just not enough content on these two.

A.K.A. Friendly Lurker. Hello! Of course, I don’t mind! I’m happy you did! Thank you so much for sending the first one and for giving us more #Hyena content to love this time around.

You’re right. There’s just not enough content for these two. 🙂

Yes, Geumja feelings are a slow burn. This story does an excellent job of showing her thought process. I love the way it dissects their relationship and how she realizes her feelings for him. Also love that bit about the nightmares. 

I’ve written about that detail in my drafts and I’m just tickled with the knowledge that someone else picks up on those details, too. We’re not alone in the universe! 😆 

You also went over that angsty rooftop confrontation. And I can just imagine Ji Eun’s expression when she walks in on them. Haha. And I sighed over that part when she tosses that question at Hee Jae: Why me?

If I were Hee Jae, I’d say: why not you?

And then your Hee Jae goes on to say why. I live for that conversation. It captures a beautiful moment in their lives.

I love these two. Please, don’t stop writing. You and some of the other writers keep me going, too. Thank you so much for sharing your work with the rest of us. Vividly imagined details and wonderful insight. The way you tell this story makes it easy for readers to dive into the moment. That’s sheer happiness. 

I have nothing but love, love, love for your work.

Also, one of the readers of this blog–MIU–approached me and asked if she could translate my stories, along with the one you sent. I initially thought about saying no, as the lack of control over the story in that form worried me.

But the translator assured me that she’d keep close to the original. And she does. She’s also very nice and she sends some of the feedback my way, which I appreciate tons. Translation is a labor of love. Nothing but that could induce her to patiently translate our fics. 😄

Also, my reason for writing these fics has always been to reach out to other people who love this OTP—as much as we do!—and spread the love for #KimHyeSoo & #JuHiHoon. So, I hope you don’t mind. I said yes.
