Why I Write Fanfics

I fell in love with Hyena and its leads. That got me started on writing Hyena fanfics. 

I also write KHS-JJH FFs.

If KHS-JJH fics are not your thing, just skip over them or enjoy other fanfics elsewhere. 

For me, the KHS-JJH fics are an extension of Geumja and Heejae. They are another set of characters, loosely based on the people who play them. I think they may exist in some parallel universe.

But these are stories. They’re imagined. They’re not real.  There is no disrespect meant to either KHS or JJH. 

If these bother you, move on. 

Worrying about what fan fiction writers are up to seem foolish, narrow-minded, and absurd considering the chaos in the world right now. 

That's probably one of the reasons why I love this show so much, though. As the virus forces us to reassess everything in our lives—work, goals, relationships—it really makes you ask: what do I really want to do? How shall I live? 

And maybe if this pandemic is going to end us, we—me & my moots over here—want it to find us doing what we love. Which is to write and tell stories. To be okay. That’s another form of resistance, too. 

It’s hard to do that when you’re anxious and scared. But it’s even more important to do that when you’re anxious and scared.
